The Sturgis Buffalo Chip Biker Belles is partnering with Harley-Davidson and Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona to bring The Morning Ride to Daytona to celebrate women riders and raise funds for worthy charities. On March 10, 2022, visitors to the 81st annual Daytona Bike Week can connect with industry shapers and join a guided ride through beautiful backroads led by ride co-captains Cris Sommer Simmons, Jody Perewitz and Savannah Rose. Other special guests include Karen Davidson, Mandy Rossmeyer, Shelly Rossmeyer, Lori Struck DeSilva, and more to be announced. Reservations and donation opportunities are available at DaytonaWomensRide.com.

The Morning Ride

“Gathering together for encouragement, empowerment, and mentorship with our friends, Harley-Davidson and Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona allows us to expand our mission to support women riders,” said Toni Woodruff, Biker Belles Program Director. “It provides everyone another opportunity to find our happy place, our community and ride.”

The Morning Ride begins at Harley-Davidson headquarters at Daytona International Speedway and ends at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona, where friends and leading industry women will gather to share experiences. This celebration of women in motorcycling is open to everyone. After the ride, participants are free to join a women’s ride-in bike show by Revelation1 Concepts.

Registration is open online at DaytonaWomensRide.com or available onsite at 7:30 a.m. at Harley-Davidson’s headquarters at Daytona International Speedway. Kickstands go up at 9:00 a.m.

One hundred percent of rider contributions from The Morning Ride Daytona go to Helping With Horsepower, a non-profit organization that empowers and encourages women and girls who are at risk or are victims of abuse.

Coming this August is the 14th annual Biker Belles Women’s Day Celebration at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
