Sedici Tourisma WP women’s boots are a full-grain leather offering from an in-house brand sold by Cycle Gear and RevZilla. The Tourismas are sturdy and subtly styled boots that are geared toward the touring, sport-touring, and cruiser segments. These mid-height boots have features that will appeal to a wide range of riders, particularly those who are petite.

The full-grain leather in the Tourisma WP Boots is double-stitched. The boots feature diamond-pattern leather inserts both fore and aft that add both style and flexibility. There is a small reflective insert above the heel. The simple, subtle design does not have a shifter pad or other leather add-ons in the toe area. The boots feature a YKK inner ankle zipper with a water gusset. A hook-and-loop closure flap keeps the zipper concealed and securely in place. Even with the full-length zipper, the boots can be a bit of a challenge to get on when brand new.

The “WP” in the Tourisma name indicates that the boots are waterproof. They feature a Hipora inner liner, a three-layer, microporous membrane that’s both waterproof and breathable. In the Tourisma, that membrane runs to the full height of the boot, which is not always the case in some other motorcycle boots. Amara suede wraps the circumference of the opening for comfort and to help seal the boots up top.

With their styling, the Tourismas could easily be mistaken for leather fashion boots. However, they offer up a full slate of protective features. The sole is reinforced with a plastic shank. There is armor in the ankle area and engineered reinforcement in the toe and heel areas. Also, the full leather construction adds impact and abrasion protection.

Potential buyers should take note of the soles of the Tourisma boots. The oil-resistant treads feature a heel that is raised 4 cm, and the rest of the shock-absorbing platform is raised 2 cm. There are pros and cons to this design. For our 5-foot-3-inch tester, the sole height added a bit of reach when putting her feet down. However, the height can make for more cumbersome movement above and below the shifter. The individual rider must weigh this tradeoff.

The fit seems accurate and standard. The size-8 boots fit snug but not overly tight on our tester’s size-8 feet. The toe box is moderately wide and comfortable. All in all, the Sedici Tourisma WP boots are a comfortable, protective, and subtly attractive option for women riders and passengers. The minimalist styling, full slate of features, and affordable price make them worth a look.
